PacLease maintains the Williams' fleet which includes owned units under a contract maintenance agreement. At the end of each month, PacLease provides customized reports detailing mileage, utility cost records, monthly and annual expenses.

"This way we can benchmark equipment utilization and maintenance costs," says Williams. "For example, it might make sense to move low-mileage vehicles to high-mileage areas. Or if a truck is starting to incur too many maintenance expenses, we can make the decision to purchase new equipment."
