TITLE: General Manager

DUTIES:

  • Business plan management to include annual and long-term planning; capital budget process; reconciliation of actual vs. plan
  • Shop Management to include PM inspection tracking; expense budgeting; staffing requirements; scheduling hours of operations; overseeing warranty claims a & tire program; customer relations; conducting safety & shop meetings
  • Sales Management to include marketing, cold calls, presentations, rate preparation; truck pricing; used truck sales; client relations; goal setting
  • Financial Management to include rental utilization; P&L, credit & collections; asset management; billing; accounts systems
  • Staff management: conduct staff meetings; personnel evaluations; performance management; staffing; employee development

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and high customer orientation
  • Multi-tasking
  • Problem-solving skills
  • PC skills
  • Professionalism
  • Discreet; able to handle confidential information

EDUCATION/TRAINING DESIRED:

  • College degree desired

EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED:

  • Five years experience, preferably in a full-service environment in a management role.
