Rental Manager
TITLE: Rental Manager
DUTIES:
This person will be responsible for generating new rental account sales in targeted territory and managing existing account relationship and assisting in the operation of the rental fleet.
- Developing and coordinating sales and marketing programs and strategies for new rental accounts
- Creating target lists within assigned territory and conducting direct solicitation through cold-calling, telemarketing, direct mail, etc
- Managing existing assigned rental accounts, ensuring customer service and coordinating problem resolution amongst staff
- Assisting in daily rental operations to include telephone coverage, coverage for dispatch and return of rental vehicles, and ensuring proper driver/insurance requirements are met
- Submitting assigned required reports
- Other duties as assigned
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Qualified candidates will be comfortable with cold call solicitation, detail oriented, organized, determined, ambitious, and a team player; have highly developed verbal and written communication and customer service skills. Occasional travel is required.
EDUCATION/TRAINING DESIRED:
EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED:
- Prior sales experience is highly desired, preferably in the truck and/or car rental industry. Candidates will preferably have a college degree with prior business experience
