TITLE: Lease Sales Manager
DUTIES:
- Responsible for contacting new prospects via direct mail programs, telemarketing, and cold calls.
- Develops and presents sales proposals to prospects for all product lines, i.e. full service lease, contract maintenance, sales or service, etc.
- Maintains a high level of “customer service” coordinating problem solutions within the franchise staff, safety meetings, and driver familiarization sessions for customers.
- Develops and coordinates marketing and sales programs and strategies for the leasing company.
- Creates target lists and aggressively pursues credit-worthy prospects.
- Develops an annual “Sales Plan” for inclusion in the franchise Business Plan.
- Submits required reports, including Weekly Sales Call Summary, to General Manager.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Comfortable with cold call solicitation.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, effective time management and strong analytical skills are a must.
- Familiar with heavy duty truck specifications including legal, performance, and application criteria.
- Understands administrative and service features of Full Service Lease.
- Must be detail oriented, organized, determined, ambitious, and a “team player”
EDUCATION/TRAINING DESIRED:
- 5 years truck rental/leasing industry, minimum 2-3 years as a full service lease salesperson.
- College degree with solid computer skills is highly desired.
EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED:
- Five years experience, preferably in a full-service environment in a management role.
