TITLE:  Lease Sales Manager

DUTIES:

  • Responsible for contacting new prospects via direct mail programs, telemarketing, and cold calls.
  • Develops and presents sales proposals to prospects for all product lines, i.e. full service lease, contract maintenance, sales or service, etc.
  • Maintains a high level of “customer service” coordinating problem solutions within the franchise staff, safety meetings, and driver familiarization sessions for customers.
  • Develops and coordinates marketing and sales programs and strategies for the leasing company.
  • Creates target lists and aggressively pursues credit-worthy prospects.
  • Develops an annual “Sales Plan” for inclusion in the franchise Business Plan.
  • Submits required reports, including Weekly Sales Call Summary, to General Manager.

 SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Comfortable with cold call solicitation.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, effective time management and strong analytical skills are a must.
  • Familiar with heavy duty truck specifications including legal, performance, and application criteria.
  • Understands administrative and service features of Full Service Lease.
  • Must be detail oriented, organized, determined, ambitious, and a “team player”

EDUCATION/TRAINING DESIRED:

  • 5 years truck rental/leasing industry, minimum 2-3 years as a full service lease salesperson.
  • College degree with solid computer skills is highly desired.

EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED:

  • Five years experience, preferably in a full-service environment in a management role.
