PacLease Names North American Service Manager of the Year


BELLEVUE, Wash. August 29, 2006 — PACCAR Leasing Company (PacLease) has named Dan Bothmann as its Service Manager of the Year.
 
Bothmann, who is the service manager for Rush PacLease in Houston, Texas, is responsible for nearly 600 PacLease units.  He has more than 13 years of fleet maintenance experience and previously was named the 2002 PacLease Western Region Service Manager of the Year.  

“Dan possesses dedication, professionalism and intelligence with a get-it-done attitude,” said Jim Smith, general manager of Rush PacLease in Houston, Texas. “Dan has taken some unique approaches to attracting some new technicians to our team. He’s always striving to train his team to be true technicians not parts changers, with an emphasis on troubleshooting and using all the tools available to today’s technicians.”

“Dan is successful because of his sense of urgency, leadership, work ethic, dedication and a habit of surrounding himself with a capable team,” said Ron Koerner, director of maintenance at Rush PacLease. “He has a strong ability to take ownership and get the job done.”

The criteria for selection includes exceptional fleet maintenance coupled with outstanding scores in shop cleanliness, condition of rental fleet, equipment inspections, inventories, warranty program, technician training, formalized parts pricing, and preventive maintenance currency.
