PacLease Names Franchises of the Year

Kenworth Sales Company and JX PacLease Take Home Top Honors
BELLEVUE, Wash., May 6, 2016 – PacLease has announced its North American franchises of the year for 2015. Kenworth Sales Company, in West Valley, Utah, was named the Kenworth franchise of the year, while JX PacLease in Waukesha, Wisconsin, was named the Peterbilt winner. Both companies were presented with the PacLease Standard of Excellence award, during a PacLease system meeting recently held in Scottsdale, Arizona.
“We had truly outstanding customer service and excellent performance by our franchise group this year – led by Kenworth Sales Company and JX PacLease,” said Ken Roemer, president of PACCAR Leasing. “Their performance showcases what PacLease is all about – exceeding customer expectations with PACCAR trucks spec’d to customer applications, backed by what we believe is the best service network in the industry. When it comes to fleet size, our franchises had a record-breaking year.”
According to Kyle Treadway, president of Kenworth Sales Company, which has 16 PacLease locations in seven states, the company was “honored to be among the best of the best.”
“There are so many stellar franchises within the PacLease network that being named the Kenworth PacLease franchise of the year is quite an honor,” said Treadway. “Our philosophy is to listen to the customer and the marketplace and strive for continuous improvement. It’s why we have a best-practices group that shares ideas amongst all our locations, plus we have the support of PACCAR Leasing in programs.”
Treadway said the combination of a quality product in Kenworth, coupled with the ability to custom spec the truck for its customer, is driving lease sales. “Kenworth is inferior to none when it comes to fuel economy and serviceability,” he said. “The future is in improving operation efficiency while reducing downtime for our customers – we do all we can to keep our customers moving.”
For Ron Neumuth, general manager for JX PacLease, the fifth time was the charm. “We’ve won the regional award the last four years,” he said. “So we were thrilled to be named the Peterbilt franchise of the year this year – it was icing on the cake. Our people work very hard for our customers and it’s one reason we’ve been seeing double-digit growth at our 19 locations.”
JX PacLease sees the ability to custom spec a premium product as a competitive advantage over other leasing companies. “It all starts with a quality product, like Peterbilt, and building it to our customer’s application,” Neumuth said. “But you can’t ignore the people and integrity standing behind the truck.
